Improve the lives of our neighbors in Haiti.
Every individual has potential. By standing beside the people we serve, working to remove barriers to their success, and providing necessary resources to help them work towards independence, we restore human dignity.
Join our Great American Water Balloon Fight to fight to improve the lives of our neighbors in Haiti. Join us in the fight zone this year in Pittsburgh and in Denver.

Team Tassy’s mission is to unleash the inherent power in every person to eliminate global poverty. We work to prepare and to place the poor into jobs so that they can pull themselves out of poverty forever. Our work focuses on one community in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, called Menelas. Our goal is to accompany the community block by block until we’ve served every family, whether that takes us 10 days or 10 years.

Nicole is our resident nurse. Team Tassy has provided her with a scholarship to complete nursing school (she will graduate this year!). Simultaneously, she's taken up a paid internship to help put food on the table for her family.
The Jeune's is a family of 11 who live in a small tent in Menelas, the community we serve. Team Tassy is currently providing scholarships for the kids to attend school and working on rebuilding a home for the family. We have also trained and placed one family member into a job and will continue to train and place additional family members into good, dignified jobs so that they can work together to pull themselves out of poverty forever.
Erony is our resident shoemaker. Team Tassy is working with him to build his business so he can earn an income to put food on the table and to send his kids to school. Check out some of his shoes on Facebook!
The Adme's are our second Team Tassy family. They're a hardworking bunch. We have worked to provide medical access to the family, scholarships for the kids, and small business support for Marc Noel, the dad. Marc Noel currently drives a tap-tap (the Haitian taxi), making enough to put food on the table for the family. Next up, we'll work to place his wife into a job, which will provide the opportunity for the family to graduate from our services and help the next family in need.
